During surveys conducted in Iraq in 2020-2023 on tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) crops using pathogen-specific immunostrip kits, the following viruses were detected for the first time in Iraq: tomato brown rugose fruit virus (Tobamovirus fructirugosum – ToBRFV - EPPO A2 List).
